02 Cdti / rumbling belt tensioner

Hi All,



Have just had the waterpump/air-con belt changed due to having to also replace a worn-out & rattling crank pulley. Before work started, I did ask the mechanic to check everything out while in there, and replace anything that wasn't 100%.



Went to pick car up, and he tells me the belt tensioner is rumbling, which it is. Don't think he wanted the work of having to move stuff to get at the tensioner, so, can anyone tell me what's involved in replacing the tensioner - I can find no mention of it in the Hayne's manual.



If anyone has any idea of what I should expect to pay for this job, that would also be appreciated.
