Project RH - Robin Hood
Soooo, a while ago Dad managed to pick up a Robin Hood (Caterham type replica) for a pittance. The chap that owned it was attempting to build/restore it in a lock-up with lights powered from a car battery and no proper equipment. getting under the skin of the thing it was at best a complete bodge, at worst a death trap! Coach bolts, spacers cut at angles with a hacksaw, mismatched bolts that didn't fit the holes they were in, transmission tunnel hacked apart to fit larger seats that would never in a million years go in, etc, etc.
The long process of stripping and rebuilding started a few months ago and now she's getting somewhere. There's still a long way to go but once done will be a lovely little car.
I have to get more of the pictures from Dad that he has taken along the way but here are a few that I've managed to take.
Car as we got her...
Pretty much stripped....
And various painting and putting back together shots....
