Agreed Value Insurance Recomendations

Much like the vibrations in the cup of water in Jurassic park herald the approaching dinosaurs I've had two letters from the AA with made up names on them, missed calls and a text message from Aplan which all must mean my car insurance renewal is fast approaching.





Last year after spending some money on a respray I wanted to make sure the money I was spending was in some way covered, I got an agreed value policy which actually came in pretty much the same as I was paying with Aplan normally and was much less than their next renewal (I was also fed up of the Aplan game where they put the renewal price up £90 every year and see if you bother to call them for them to magically reduce it to last years price.) Hoping my current insurer doesn't ramp up the price and I can stay with them but best to be prepared.



I know not all insurers offer agreed value policies so this is as much about who to call as anything.



Should add Peter Best is out for me as I wouldn't class the cars parking space as off the road but happy for suggestions if anyone has any.
