Coolant advice please

I'm about to fit stainless underfloor pipes to my TF. When it comes to changing the coolant, is it essential to use OAT stuff, or can I use non-OAT so long as the system has been flushed and the two types don't mix? Have about 4 litres of the red stuff that Fords use, and if I can use that instead of having to buy more, then great. Cars already costing me a small fortune this week
