Gearbox

Hi all. New to MG so if I ask a stupid question cut me some slack.



My 06 ZS was a 1.8 now converted to L series TD. The gearstick is very loose in the throw and has a lot of movement. I know I need a rebuild kit but, but are there a lot of different gearboxes or is it the same box across the range?
