Going rate for a BRM gearbox?

I just contacted a breaker (who sadly had BRM) to see if the gearbox was still available, as I fancied chucking a LSD into the TF.



Sent a polite message asking for availability, pricing, mileage on the box etc.... Just got this as a reply (literally)



"£395"



So, we already know he is a rude ****, but is he also a robbing git or do BRM gearboxes really fetch more than an entire k-series engine of similar age?
