MG ZS Grinding Noise and high pitched squeal problem

Apologies for the "Wall o Text" but have a read and see what you think:

Rear O/S Calliper was binding and had pretty much warped the disc and the pads were also shot.

Took the car to a garage where they "apparently" checked the calliper over and replaced the rear discs and pads and re-greased the calliper. Following day, went out for a drive and after about 10 minutes, the grinding and squealing started again. Pulled over and the rear O/S disc was red hot! Left it half an hour to cool yet when I went to move off, the calliper had completely seized! Quick call and the AA were on the scene. Managed to remove the Calliper and it was pretty much shot. They'd greased the outside but hadn't bother with the internals (rubber o-ring was split and all sorts of gunk was stuck inside!)

Eventually got the car home and took it to another garage, explained the grinding and squealing noise (and the shot calliper). They replaced it, took it for a test drive and no noise.

Following day, driving to work, the noises started again! This time, dropped it off at a mechanics round the corner. Replaced the front discs and pads (as they were also worn and very low and thought that might be where the squealing was coming from.

Nope, still there! He did find that the ABS ring on the rear was split and just spinning & not actually doing anything so replaced that thinking that might be the cause... Nope!

Now with light breaking, the noise doesn't stop - If I break heavy though, it does!

Personally, I think that when the calliper seized, it ended up warping the new disc and has buggered the pads as well... Mechanic thinks it isn't but you can hear slight rubbing when freely spinning the wheel.

Anyone else think the same or could it be something totally else?
