my m.i.l.has come on

recently my m.i.l (malfunction indicater light) Came on in the dash board so I payed for it to to be diagnosed and it came back with a maf problem.

now iv been reading on here from past threads and the general consensus is that you seem to loose low end power but if you disconnect it it is fine. .

mine however has power up to 4000 revs and then it just dies until I change up a gear and this is the same for all gears any advise would be great cheers GHOST.
