Rover 416 GTi Lowering??

just got a 416 gti, has zr alloys on it and is in serious need of lowering. am i right in saying these are practically the same cars as the civic ef's?? or is it just the honda engine they share. as looking there is many lowering springs etc for the civic but cant find any for the 416 gti any help guys ??
