Random problem with footwell lights and alarm.

I went out for a drive last night and the footwell lights stayed on while driving. They turned off after about 20 minutes of driving (instrument lights stayed on as they should) so I thought it'd sorted itself, until I got home, opened the door and the footwell lights didnt come back on. It was late, so thought I'd wait until the morning to investigate and locked and alarmed the car. However, on doing this this horn sounded. Unlocked, locked again, same thing happened.
