Bilstiens - question!

I have fitted the bilstiens at the standard height with new springs. Seem fine but I just get the feeling that one or both of the fronts are not damping on drop.



Holes, bumps and speed humps I used to take when the car was Hydrolastic now have a horrid thump on the down side as the wheels return to ground. I am not saying I am getting 'air' but at similar speeds it wasn't an issue with old dampers on hydrolastic.



Any thoughts on how to check they are working as they should?
