Yay, she passed again! (Brake question)
KX54 RUH is now MoT'd until September 2015. 
No advisories, although she did have to retake the emissions test, which was perfectly fine the 2nd time. (Forgot the pre-test Italian tune-up!)
Didn't get an advisory, but I noticed that both off-side brakes were less effective than the n/s. Asked the tester, and he said both failed to lock, but that's not a reason for failure under the 50% rule. He thought the calipers might be sticking.
Do I just strip and clean them, without going as far as taking the pistons out of the calipers, or is more drastic attention required?
