Steering Track / Tie / Axial rod - Inner Driver side
Hello.
Just failed Norwegian MOT on my -98 Rover 200, 1.4 16V.
Failure was Inner Tie Rod - Left Hand Side (Driver side)
Wriggled the tire (9 and 3 position) and there is in and out movement in the rod itself, but the outer fastener seems fast/firm.
Question:
1. Is it possible to change the rod part itself, or do I need an entire steering rack?
2. Which part will I need (name of it or even better a link) (seen them referred to as tierod, axial rod, steering end rod osv.)?
3. Are there any specialty tools needed for this?
Thanks!
