Wheeler Dealers - New Series
I have to say I have been most impressed with the new series. Ed has certainly got more ambitious in the recent few series.
The Audi TT he repaired last night was a case in point. Bought for £1500 the Y reg TT didn't have first or second gear. I expected him to just put a reconditioned gearbox in but instead he had a go at repairing it.
The result is an MGJohn style repair. Back on the road with a 50p part.
I know his labour costs are not counted and he has all the kit that we don't but compared to the USA shows* like this WD stands heads and shoulders above them. The Jag XJC episode is also well worth seeing. A very smart car.
*That all feature loud, bearded, tattooed mechanics with a false jeopardy deadline.
