400 tailgate hinge welding

My 400 has got some significant rust around the body mounting for boot hinges. There's a patch about 2" x 1/2" around both hinges.



It was there (though nothing like as bad)when I bought it 5 years ago, so should really have sorted it then.



Anyway, has anyone had this area welded - and if so how much did it cost?



It also has rust around the windscreen (it cracked yesterday - N/S bottom corner), so there might be a little more work required...
