chage fob battery, now i'm buggered

as per the title, replaced the battery in the fob and now it won't work! only have the one fob for the car, tried 2 different batteries. have tried a couple of different techniques to no avail.



its a 220 nasp, 95, 3tx fob, the boot open light has been on for a while, neither door swich works. central locking doesn't work off the key or inside the car. whenever i put the key to position 2 the alarm sounds.



any advice would be very useful.
