Came back to the car today after visiting local town centre.

Walking to GEF and an elderly gent was stood looking at my car. He asked if "she" was mine.



We then spent 10-15 minutes chatting.

Turns out he had an R600 for 10 years "best car I ever owned" he said.

As age progressed he down sized to a 400 then got a 45.



"Worst mistake I ever made was getting rid" he said.



Then in another carpark I was told by a younger guy.

(putting shopping in boot with engine running)



"See that water comming out of there" (exhaust)

Head gaskets gone mate,



Tried to explain short runs cause it,



He said it's HGF "cos' it's a Rover"



BTW I do have excessive moisture (lots)

Got the wife to rev the car and had a look.

Borderline niagra falls.



coolant level is same.



Note to self good motorway run needed.
