Connecting second fan on replacement alloy rad.
Afternoon all,
I recently had a used (good condition) TF alloy rad fitted to my 2001 F and the mobile mechanic (MGRMM - Mark) whipped off the old fan from the old rad and stuck it on the replacement to give me TWO fans!. Whilst I can see the possible benefit of having twice the fan power to cool when the rad fans kick in, I got to thinking about the electrics side of things.
Firstly, I need a second multiplug and length of wire to actually connect it up, I've looked all over the WWW but cannot find it available to buy. Does anyone have a link or place that I could get one from?
Secondly, I'm thinking about fuses. I'm not a spark, but in my mind I'm thinking that this may need changing or upgrading. Not sure.
Would be good to hear any input on this mod and advice regarding connecting it up.
Cheers
Steve. :)
