Oil filter differences?
Hi,
Just in the process of changing my oil. The filter on the car is a Fram, my new one is Mann.
I notice when side by side, the Fram has 6 holes (return route for the oil?) around the top while the Mann has 4. They look much the same size. Since there are two less holes in the Mann would this cause any issues with oil flow? I'm especially thinking when using the engine at higher revs (eg on track). Will the Mann cause back pressure or would the number of holes not make any difference?
KV6 engine, by the way.
