keep or scrap?

Have a rover 25 tdi with 132000 miles on it. Leaking sunroof (well it would be if not taped up), asthmatic sounding door but good engine and the bodywork was treated when it was bought so is in pretty good nick apart from a few scratches. One of the rear lights has tape on too. New tyres a year ago (maybe 10k miles max) and fan belt done around 92,000 miles. None of the faults are MOT failures but there could be things that would need doing. Other half is keen to get rid because of potential large repair bills.



Would you MOT it and keep another year if you weren't able to do repairs yourself or scrap it? Doubt many people would want to buy because of the cosmetic faults but as it runs well I'm reluctant to scrap it.
