Dad! That would be a good project for James!
A long standing family friend who lives nearby has had her daughter's non-runner Peugeot 206 taking up space on her drive for months. Covered in leaves with some healthy moss starting to appear. Wants it out the way and asked me to take it to the scrap yard. Her son has removed a few key parts for their other family cars.
Told my sons I'm off to see the car and get it ready for the trip to the breakers.
Off we go and as soon as we see the car, my oldest son goes into possible "nice little earner" mode. He maybe right. Be a good project for my other son James with the bonus of getting him out of his room away from all his IT stuff and some fresh air benefit .. :)
Anyway I agreed it could be a possible project for my younger son with bonus reasons .. ;) Apparently it's a high spec version ( I wouldn't know ~ does have fog lamps and nice Alloy wheels.) and maybe worth some effort.
With too many cars about our properties I agreed on the basis that if by December it's not up and running, then off to the yard she goes.
We shall see.
