V6 180 Thermostat Refit Walkthrough?

Just wondered if the notorious "Keyhole" 2 hour Thermostat Removal and replacement is a myth?

Mine needs to be done and if poss 2 hours is what I'd like to spend on it!

Any advice much appreciated
