Two very different Connoisseurs.
I now have two R75 cdti auto Connoiseurs. Identical model descriptions on the V5.
My older 2004 plate has just about every gong and whistle you can think of and is a superb motor car. A few days ago I bought another Conny with a 2006 plate and a late build number in the 351200 series. ( Last apparently was 355194 ). Very good condition and I am very pleased with it.
What absolutely suprises me is that there is virtually nothing on board in the way of goodies that I have on my earlier car. Basic radio, no sensors, no leather, no computer , no power seats , the list is extensive. I seem to have a very 'basic' car which in a way is good as there are less things to go wrong.
I'm thinking of suing Rover under Trade Descriptions but the horse has bolted. My only belief is that the later cars were thrown together out of what was left on the shelf. " Run out of cruise controls so we'll leave em off " - sort of thing.
What I do find amusing though is that this car has electric boot release and a folding mirrors switch. These are about the only two items missing off my earlier Conny !
I have searched for threads on subject as I will not be the first, but can find very little. Am I right in my beliefs here and do I have a unique and therefore very valuable Conny. ( Tongue in cheek )
