Shocking discovery whilst doing the rear arm bushes.
Laying beside the car while doing up the bolts on the lower arm and looking up into the wheel arch space as you do. Noticed a flange headed bolt on top of the sub frame showing a lot of bolt shank..................................... hmmm that does not look right so did a bit of investigating. Only to find that these bolts, yep there was a second further back from view, are there to hold the gear box support and were only just inserted into the captive nuts and not done up even slightly.
Now suspect that there has been some clutch work in the past before I acquired her back in June and whom ever did the work just didn't do the bolts up. They are now done up.
