Starting Troubles

Evening all,



I went out to go to work this morning and my car (MG ZS 2.0 TD) wouldn't start the dash lights and all electrics work fine i.e lights wipers etc, there is just a clicking noise and sometimes it beeps quite loud.



Am i right in thinking its a new starter motor that's needed or could it be something else?
