ZS 180 blown up
As above, joined the dual carriageway in the 180, 300 yards later a loud clunk, huge cloud of white smoke and bits of metal hitting the underside of the car. Luckily the police saw and towed us to a layby.
She's at the garage now, being looked at tomorrow. Couldn't see anything from under the car or the bonnet, no pool of oil (checked oil level and it's still full) and no gaping hole in the block that I can see. Belts all still there and not slack, were changed at 60k and now on 90k, full service done this July.
Anyone had or heard of failure like this?
