Brake Issue
Hi all, I made a bit of a mistake yesterday when giving the brakes of my 25 an inspection and clean since i noticed there was a rubbing noise coming from touching of the brake disc and pads. I will be replacing the discs and pads next week when i get paid, in the meantime i thought i would have a look and see if it was certainly them or something else.
After taking the wheel off from the NSF, removing the 12mm bolt and lifting the brake caliper up, took out pads, give them a clean and then put some copper grease on.
**This is where i made my mistake**
I then pressed the caliper in with a clamp without opening the brake fluid reservoir under the bonnet
I couldn't actually release the bolt from the OSF side to lift the caliper, so will be waiting till i get my blowtorch from work to give them a bit of slight persuasion and then replacing with all new bolts on both sides.
After pumping brakes to build pressure back, i took it out for a test drive and i've noticed at low speeds with turning i am getting a juddering noise. only at low speed and turning.
I hope i havent done any serious damage, thought i'd post on here before trying anything, get some advice from those who know more lol.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
