chugging at idle

so picked up another 1.4 ZR today, drives fine although used quite a lot of fuel on its way home, have noticed that the idle is chugging



car had HG fail and has all been replaced, I think the lambda may have been poisoned and has now failed



I have a code reader so will compare the various sensor readings with our other ZR



would the lambda sound a realistic problem at this stage?
