L/H/S Headlamp (dipped beam)

Hi folks i had to replace a bulb today on my Tf on the l/h/side headlamp,i got the bulb out ,but whilst doing this the seat that the bulb sits in came away from the back of the lamp . there are three lugs on it and no matter what way i put it in again it will not go back onto the lamp again any body got any information on how to get the seat back onto the lamp it's pretty urgent as i have MOT on Tuesday
