The rattle stopping thread

I think most of us would agree that despite being generally well built the 25 can suffer from various irritating trim rattles and noises so I thought it might be an idea to share what causes and solutions people have found.



I recently bought a sheet of 3mm self adhesive foam and put strips along the bottom of the cup holder insert in the door and along the side where the cup bulge touches the main door pocket. Now completely silent and doing a far better job than the previous owner's blu tac.



I also put some lining the metal clip insert that the parcel shelf sits in. Not completely quiet but now much improved.



Now on to finding the dash rattles......
