vvc cam ladder ,cam questions

I've decided to use the 160 vvc in my 105 zrso the question is will the standard cam ladder fit on the vvc head ?and can I use the standard cam on the inlet?Has anybody linked the inlet cams from the vvc in a standard cam ladder ,I'm OK with spanners (28 years of experience;-) ) and have access to a selection of lathes and turret mills drills etc
