45 Cold Start issues solved with new battery!?

I've been having cold start issues for ages, and a bit of searching led me to believe my pump timing was out.



However, yesterday morning i couldn't get the car to start at all. Drained the battery in the end with cranking too much. I hooked it up to another car with jump leads this morning after the car had been sat for a few days not used and with a dead battery, and it started in -2C in about a second, two turns of the starter and i didn't even let the glow plug light go out before i started it.



So i recon the battery is dying?
