Big question. In need of advice

Just got my hands on a zed-r tdi 100 all coolant levels are fine, long drive for temp gauge to be spot on running temp, just got no heat coming though vents, does the Tdi have any type of Saab valve aswel? I need to get this sorted today as its starting to freeze over and I don't fancy trying to drive and looking like an alcoholic needing his first morning can of special brew with pure shakes. Haha
