EPAS problem

Hello,

I suddenly experience an EPAS problem on my mgf mk2. The steering one moment is extremely light and suddenly too heavy without any assistance.



The problem began when i replaced the engine,ecu and loom with a 1997 vvc without electronic speedometer. My car is model 2000 mpi and has electronic speedometer on the dash.



I have ordered a 2000 vvc loom to connect to the car's gearbox while i am driving right now without a working speedometer since.



Could this be the problem since the car's mems2 ECU thinks the car is parked all the time (citymode ) or it could be something else?



Any ideas?
