Regassed spheres - a six month torture test

About six months ago I had all four hydragas spheres recharged with Nitrogen to the correct factory pressure by Paul Walbran Motors in Auckland.

Since then I've used my F as a daily-driver on what would amount to some of the cr***piest sealed roads in the world. My home town is Christchurch. We had a magnitude 7 earthquake in 2010 and since then the roads have gone from having car-swallowing potholes to something resembling a junior ski-slalom.

The results of the recharge are excellent, I now have a comfy ride and no leaks. I would recommend the recharge service to anyone serious about keeping their F on the road. If you're in NZ, you need to squirrel away order of $1500 to $2000 dollars for a full recharge and fit. If you want to do it yourself, you'll need a hydragas pump + fluid and general automotive tools.

For those overseas, since Paul's company developed the technology all I can say is try to negotiate some kind of licensing scheme with him. He is a nice guy, but obviously needs to make a living like the rest of us!
