That bloody interior mirror!!

The wife got home this evening with her interior mirror dangling by the wires.

I have the correct sticky pads to get it on the screen but its so cold out there it won't stay on the glass. I'll have another go tomorrow in the daylight and possibly warm the glass a bit before I stick it on.

The real problem though is the tiny mount that sticks on the screen. Its so small in comparison with the size and weight of the mirror, plus when she makes an adjustment to it, with it being so stiff, its no wonder it came off the screen.

Another problem with this particular mount is that its a bit of a loose fit when the mirror is slid on. Is this usual or has ours got a bit of wear on it. Or maybe there's something missing? Would the wear be on the mirror or the mount?
