torque app

just bought the torque app and it works ok with my lifetab but not my galaxy s5570 phone or my laptop the phone will not find it on a bluetooth scan the laptop sees it but will not connect any one else had the same problem i ve been trying for about an hour without getting any i would be grateful for any info
