Best way to find whats draining my battery?

I had a thought this morning, maybe one of you knowledgeable guys can tell me if it's a good way to do it?



Borrow a multimeter from someone and check the top of each fuse (Where the metal shows each side) with the ignition off. If it shows something then it's draining the juice. meaning I can investigate further on that circuit.



Obviously the alarm will drain, but what sort of reading should I be looking at for normal operation?
