Dreaded Blue cloud of smoke.

Hi all, after having my car standing for about 2 Months "zr td" i know notice alot of what seems white but as soon as you put some throttle on while stationary seems blue tinted and smells horrible fumes coming from the exhaust, it also seems a little lumpy at idle...

Checked oil and it is down to min although could have been like this for awhile so couldn't say if it is leaking atm, however coolant is still oil free.

after alot of research i hear that it could be a possible turbo, head failure, or valve stems although that latter 2 i hear are rare on the L-Engines.

weird thing was all this seemed to happen after my bonnet caught a nice gust of wind and snapped back to the windscreen although the only damage luckily seemed to be to the bonnet itself, it did also stretch the windscreen washer wire that sits under the bonnet and runs along the wiring around the egr.

I've had it out for a blast along a few roads and there is no lack of power at all runs lovely and not much smoke. Weirdly however on idle or parked up there's a constant small stream of smoke and anything after 2k revs makes quite a nice blue cloud behind

Anyhow just wondering if anyone could give me any advise on possible little fixes before its time for the dreaded engine strip-down. E.G cleaning out the egr

As said above the car had been standing for at least a good month and has had the wiring loom worked on due to auxiliary belt cutting through the fogs and new front bumper put on.. "previous owners fault"

Was trying my best to convince myself that the smoke was white and condensation however reality has finally kicked in. =(

Thanks in advance guys, have a feeling this one might have seen its last days.
