Lolarm II doesn't fit new expansion bottle

Has anyone experienced a similar problem? Installed Lolarm II a few years ago and has worked a treat ever since. Decided to replace the expansion bottle and new cap bought from MGOC before MOT is due. I have since discovered after the bottle was fitted that the brass circle with the small holes doesn't fit the appature of the bottle neck. The fitting is 3mm wider. I have contacted Andy Capy with this problem. Let's see what he can suggest.
