Which ECU for 214si?

I'm in the process of building a Rover 214si (1.4 16v) for rallycross / hillclimb / sprints (I'd be in either a up to 1.4 or 1.6 category), the ECU that is currently installed is the MEMS 1.9.



I'm considering either upgrading the ECU to MEMS 3 or go the whole hog and get an Emerald ECU.



Which would be the best option? I will be possibly increasing the engine capacity to 1.6 at some point and will have a full SS exhaust, 52mm throttle body, zr160 airbox fitted when fully built?
