Temperature... What should it be?

Morning All



Driving my 2002 TF to work this morning and noticed the temperature gauge (water) rising a little, it was creeping up from the halfway marker on the gauge, to approx 3/4 on the gauge, so still on in the red, sit there for 30 seconds, fans kick in, and would resume normal temperature...



According to my OBD reader, actual temperatures on normal running it sits anywhere between 100-110 degrees... on these instances where it rises to 3/4 on the gauge, it is touching 119 degrees (centigrade)



I've got a feeling it needs a coolant top up (will check in an hour or two once the car has cooled)



But should i start to worry?
