Malaysian vs Japanese Toyos

Has anyone seen the following post on FB re a potential issue with mixing Japanese and Malaysian Toyo tyres.

This is how it goes:

Ok....the results are in for my tyres lol. After having issues since October when I put new rears on my TF, at long last the car is sorted. What appears to be the problem was a mix of Japanese toyos on the front and new Malaysian toyos on the rear. The factory toyo use in Malaysia has been producing tyres that have been upgraded/re labelled. After discussions with toyo and the mgoc, toyo provided me with a brand new set of Malaysian toyos to replace the Japanese fronts. This... was in the hope that having all the same all round would sort out the stability issues that I and several other mg owners have been experiencing. My car would try to lose the back end round corners, drive like it was on jelly and was totally unsafe over about 50 mph. I had tried everything to sort this as many on here know, but to no avail, I was sceptical about changing the Japanese ones as they seemed to be ok, the Malaysian ones were the ones that seemed to be the issue. But after a scary moment yesterday, which is down to tyre fitters not following what I asked them do, the tyres are at the pressure that I always run my car on and the car handled like a dream from the minute I left home this morning. No scrubbing in, just great from moment I drove it. Cornering, the back end sticks to the road, there is no wobble, no feeling of instability. I feel like it is now safe and back to how it was before I had rears done in October. So, mix of Japanese old toyos on front and new Malaysian toyos on the rear, does seem to be the problem. Whatever they have done to the compound in the new ones, they are not compatible with the old ones made in Japan. I will be speaking to toyo tomorrow and mgoc with my findings, at their request. Toyo have been extremely helpful and hopefully my findings will help them and other mg owners.
