Non start MG F desperate need of help Fueling issue
Hi all, new to the forum and in some desperate need of some help.
I have a MG F on a Y plate which I've owned for a little over a year and it's been completely trouble free.
When I first had it I replaced the cambelt, water pump, tensioner, back box and discs and pads all round. It's been a great, fun little car which hasn't let me down until about two weeks ago.
My problem is the injectors don't seem to be spraying and so fuel starvation.
I've never had a problem I've not been able to sort but the little MG is really testing me!!
At first I thought it was the cut off switch in the boot so I've joined the wires together which seemed to work for a day (but I think it was more of a coincidence as it was a pig to start).
So far I've replaced (all brand new): fuel pump, fuel pump relay, fuel filter.
From a local MG breakers I bought from a running no problems car: complete inlet manifold with injectors, fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, throttle body.
Yesterday I changed the ECU and immobiliser again from a running car and it still has the exact same fault from day one of when it broke down.
It has a very powerful strong spark across all four, the fuel is coming upto the rail with high pressure. And the car will run up on easy start down the throttle body fine but cuts out obviously as soon as I stop spraying...
Does anyone know of any common problems with wiring maybe? As I'm starting to think it could be a wiring issue now, well I cant think of anything else it can be, it's all been replaced with new or very good condition used.
Thanks in advance
Dan
