Rover 825 coupe water pump problem

Hi all

It's been a long time since I've been on the forums. Well my green 825 coupe that I bought a year ago has been a problem child.

I bought it with 41,000 on the clock and have added about 12,000 to that mileage.

I've replaced the radiator, had the valve guides done and a cambelt service.

Last month the headgasket went, causing a crack in the cylinder head. To add to my woes, the water pump and a power steering pipe are leaking.

The head gasket has been replaced with multi layer steel and repairs to the cylinder head.

I've sourced a power steering pipe, but the water pump is proving far more difficult.

The garage have tried numerous suppliers. Every pump they send is correct apart from two bolt holes which do not align.

I've tried rimmer brothers and westgate classics already without success.

The car has been in the garage for 1 month now. I hope you guys can help me source a part or suggest a modification.

Kind regards

dunbonin.
