tf window.

Hi guys. Am having a little issue with my drivers window.i snapped the arm at one of the fixing points i did a temporary repair buy drilling through both of the arms hand riveting them together. this has done an ok job bbut the window seems to stick at the front edge and won't go all the way down. to that end i have bit the bullet and ordered a new mechanism. does anybody have any experience or links to help me adjust my window so it doesn't fall off its guide at the front and slides easily.
