Rover owners: Alternator tensionor alternitive

Daft tf alternator adjuster! after spending 25 quid on a replacment from ebay i decided to try and come up with something that would do the job as well but for little or no money. I know just wedge the darn thing up and tighten bolt but on a tf its easier said than done. anyway out of some bits laying around i came up with this, as it was the first prototype to say i used the wrong size drill bit for mounting hole hence it didnt adjust all the way up to much play. (should have used bolt as guide sods law) 2nd one works a treat if its been done before then heho if it hasnt then feel free to copy it. Bolts welded in place.and adjusts pulling from bottom bolt Also the first one showed that it needed grinding a bit more where the bottom of adjustor meets slotted rail as it was a little tight. But from the pics you get the idea.
