Details about the MG6 1.8T engine cover
Hi all,
I'm working on a mod on my 1.8 K-series engine in my Rover 75. Although the coil cover on the Rover 75 and the Mg6 1.8T look the same, there must be a difference. My MG6 engine cover doesn't sit properly on top of the R75 coil cover. I wonder what the difference is.
I have a question regarding the engine cover on the 1.8T MG6 engine.
Is there anybody on this forum that is willing to provide me with the following information?
1.
The engine cover and the coil cover is connected to the engine with 2 bolts. Does anybody know how long these bolts are? I would think that they are both the same length, but I'd still like to know how long they both are.
2.
The engine cover site on top of the coil cover. Where the 2 bolts are (mentioned above), these 2 covers connect. I would like to know how big the holes are where these 2 covers touch. I've tried to illustrate this via this image.
