front wheel bearing mot failure

Hi All



My car has been in for an MOT today on a make or break day for the car, i knew it needed 3 tyres and quite possibly more but anything more than the tyres and it probably wasn't gonna survive future ownership



Low and behold it failed, on less than i thought which is good,well kind of, only failed on 1 tyre and the front OS wheel bearing.



So i thought that's not too bad until i asked for quotation for the front wheel bearing, got quoted £292, personally seemed excessive but ive never changed one so wouldn't know, only thing i do know is that they need to be pressed.



Is it possible to get this done cheaper? and if so anyone know anybody in Nottm area :), the price did include £40 alignment and £40+ vat oh and £90 for part ( i know they currently available for £40 off here)
