Rover 45 oil leak from RC

Hello guys

Ok i have recently had the dredded HGF on my 2001 R45, and within 3 weeks of that the clutch went. Both jobs i did myself, both were done correctly and car back up and running HOWEVER....

After the HGF i had an oil leak in the camshaft carrier (the lattice clamp that holds in the camshafts in place) this was due to a snapped bolt which actually snapped when i took it out rather than refitting which is usually the case, anyway i drilled that out and retapped the whole which fixed that issue, now i am experiencing a leak from the rocker cover gasket, the gasket is brand new all the bolts were refitted in the correct sequence, does anyone have any ideas what can be causing this? Have i missed a step? Also its only leaking from the front of the rocker cover and nowhere else, ofcourse this is dripping onto the exhaust manifold and smells constantly of cooking motor oil.
